Galveston Deep Sea Fishing and Offshore fishing is best from around mid April to mid October, weather permitting of course. The fishing is good all through the Spring, Summer, and Fall but for certain species some months may be better than others.
Our Galveston Deep Sea Fishing trips are typically 6 and 8 hours, but our Bluewater Deep Sea Fishing Trips and Galveston Offshore trips are 10-12 hour trips. Each trip offers a little bit different in terms of the fish you may catch, but we can catch great fish on all the trips. If you’re looking to catch something in particular, call and discuss your trip with us.
There are a huge variety of fish that you may encounter on a Bluewater Deep Sea Fishing or Galveston Offshore Fishing Charter. We typically spend the day targeting a few different species such as Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Amberjacks, MahiMahi, Cobia, or Tuna. Along the way there is an opportunity to catch many other fish as well just depending on the luck of the day.
Typically about 45-100 miles offshore, depending on the time of year and what we are trying to catch. Earlier in the Sring and early Summer usually 45-70 miles to catch Red Snapper and King Mackerel, but closer to 70-100 miles for Amberjacks and Tunas.
Fuel varies based on prices at the dock, conditions of the day, and how far offshore we are fishing. Fuel burn can vary throughout the year as well depending on what kind of fish we are looking to catch. We can work with you to customize your trip, so give us a call to discuss.
